Plans, tiers and billing
The Free, Professional, and Enterprise plans — what each unlocks, how quotas follow the plan, and how to register interest.
Orkyo SaaS workspaces run on one of three plans, visible on the Plans tab of your Account page:
- Free — “Get started for free.” Every new workspace begins here; your current plan is badged Current.
- Professional — “For growing teams.”
- Enterprise — “Custom deployment & SLA.”
The paid tiers are marked Coming Soon: rather than a checkout, each card offers Notify me — registering interest tells the Orkyo team you want the tier and puts you on the list for when it opens.
What the plan controls
Two things, both visible under Administration → Usage & Limits:
- Quotas — ceilings on Members, Sites, Spaces, and Storage. At a ceiling, the corresponding create action is refused until usage drops or the plan changes.
- Entitlements — features that switch on with the tier: API Access (the Reporting API) and the Audit Log are “Available on Professional and Enterprise plans”, along with Automated Backups and Data Export entitlements per plan.
Tier-gated pages say so in place, with a pointer to the Plans tab — nothing is hidden, just gated.
Community contrast
The Community Edition has no plans or tiers: tier-gated SaaS features are simply available, and limits are a matter of the deployment’s own configuration. If your organization needs everything without a commercial tier — and is willing to operate the deployment — see SaaS or Community?.
