Workspaces and subdomains
How Orkyo SaaS organizes workspaces — per-organization subdomains, switching between organizations, and access states.
On Orkyo SaaS, each organization is a workspace with its own address: the URL identifier
chosen at creation becomes a subdomain of
orkyo.app. Workspaces are fully isolated from one another — data, users, configuration.
One account, many workspaces
Your account is global; membership is per organization. When you belong to several, the Select Organization page (“Choose an organization to continue”) appears at sign-in, and Switch Organization (user menu) or Switch on the Account → Organizations tab moves you between them without signing out. Each organization shows its status — Active, Suspended, or Deleting — right in the list.
Access states you may encounter
- No access to this workspace — you are signed in, but not a member of the organization whose address you opened. Ask that workspace’s administrator for an invitation; nothing is wrong with your account.
- Suspended workspace — the organization has been suspended or is scheduled for deletion. During the deletion grace period, the page offers self-service reactivation — see Organization settings for the deletion lifecycle.
- Session expired on a workspace address — a sign-in recovery page brings you back in place.
Addresses are commitments
The URL identifier “cannot be changed after creation” — bookmarks, invitation links, and any integrations point at it. Choose durably at creation time; renaming the display name later is free (Organization settings), the address is not.
Community contrast
Community deployments are single-tenant: one organization per installation, no subdomain routing, no organization switching. Everything else on this page is SaaS-specific — which is why it carries the badge.
