The floorplan

The floorplan is a site surface: one plan per site, holding every station type at once. Reach it from the Floorplan tab on Stations. The tab shows the same plan whichever type you came from, described as “Place and arrange every station on the site plan”.

Types that move have no place on it. See Assets.

Upload a plan

Upload an image per site with Upload Floorplan Image — “Upload a floorplan image for this site. Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG (max 10MB)”. The image is a backdrop. Orkyo does not read it, so a photograph of a whiteboard sketch works as well as a CAD export.

Draw a shape

Turn on edit mode. Pick the station type the shape will become, then a tool — rectangle, polygon or circle — and draw. The canvas says what it wants at each step: “Click to place first corner”, “Double-click to complete polygon”, “Press ESC to cancel”.

What a finished shape becomes

When the shape closes, Orkyo asks what it is for, but only when there is something to ask about.

If resources of that type exist at this site with no shape yet, you can hand the shape to one of them. Pick it from the list and it takes its place on the plan, keeping everything it already carries. A machine registered by import or from its own list page gets onto the plan this way, without being created twice.

Create a new one instead opens the create form with the same shape, which is what happens straight away when nothing is waiting to be placed.

Move and resize

In edit mode:

• Click a shape to select it. The resize handles appear.
• Drag the body to move it.
• Drag a handle to resize it.

A click that does not travel only selects, so selecting a machine does not nudge it.

Leave edit mode to pan and zoom without changing anything.

Where the plan is used

The same geometry appears as a collapsible panel on the Utilization board, tying schedule rows to physical locations.
