Import and export everywhere, and your schedule in Outlook

Transfer works on every page again, covering every resource type — and you can subscribe to your Orkyo schedule from Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.

Import and export works everywhere again

Import and export had quietly stopped being offered on most pages. Which page could do what was decided by matching the URL against a hardcoded list, and that list was never updated when the resource-types release moved the routes. Availability now follows what the open page actually offers, so it cannot drift again.

  • Every resource type is covered — People, Tools and the types you define yourself, not just Spaces. A type’s own fields travel in meta. columns, so a custom type round-trips without any per-type work.
  • Spaces export from both tabs again; Criteria, Request templates, Sites and Users are reachable once more.
  • The Gantt PDF now includes work booked on people and tools. It previously counted only space bookings, which produced an empty chart for anyone scheduling both.
  • “Export my data” (workspace JSON) now contains people, tools and custom types; it had covered only spaces.

One deliberate limit: for people, only the email address re-imports. Job title and department are references to other records, and matching them by name would confidently attach the wrong one.

See your schedule in Outlook

Publish your Orkyo schedule as a calendar feed and add it to Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar once — it keeps itself current, with no repeated exports.

Account settings → Calendar → create a feed, copy the address, and subscribe. Each device can have its own address, revocable on its own without touching your login. The feed is read-only: it shows Orkyo’s schedule and does not write back.

Treat the address as a key, not a link — anyone who has it can read your schedule. Revoke it and it stops working immediately.

Availability by plan

On Orkyo Cloud, calendar subscriptions are a Professional and Enterprise feature, and import/export requires a paid plan. On Orkyo Community, both are available without restriction.

Workspace databases migrate automatically at deploy (migration 1760 adds one new table; nothing existing is touched).
